WORKBENCH WITH POLYURETHANE WORKTOP

An aerospace client required a workbench that was larger than any they could find off the shelf but also required a worktop that would provide no metal to metal contact to avoid damage to the components that they are working with and meet strict aerospace guidelines.

Our client looked upon us for our knowledge and expertise in no metal to metal contact because they wanted a super soft worktop for their bench while keeping the rigidity of a standard workbench. We advised that using polyurethane(PU) would be best with its heat & impact resistance, high resilience and its ability to be produced in a wide range of hardness.

Although we can make the drawer cabinets to order in a range of sizes, the two cabinets used for this work bench are Bott Cabinets as they had a sufficient UDL capacity and were of perfect size for the customers requirements.
