Christmas is here and we all have either a real or plastic Christmas tree in our houses. All of us except from Vilnius Airport in Lithuania, who have created an alternative tree from confiscated items such as knives, bullets and lighters! The tree, standing at 1.5m tall, hasn’t just been done for the novelty value however. They created it to send an important message about the importance of security in aviation. They stated “If you don’t want your personal, yet prohibited, belongings to land on next years Christmas tree, better check the baggage requirements!”
Certainly a creative way of getting across the important message!
