Returnable Transit Packaging Limited (RTP) are the specialists in the supply and implementation of closed loop packaging systems. We can assist regardless of whether a closed loop packaging system is for use by an in-house manufacturing company , a nationwide distribution company or a retail operation.
As a result of the EEC Waste and Packaging Regulations, more and more companies are seeing the advantages of moving over to a returnable packaging system. Such a system makes it possible for containers to be used for over 10 years, being re-used 1000’s of times. Such a system significantly reduces the amount of waste cardboard, bubble wrap and shrink wrap that is currently disposed of into landfill.
RTP can offer a one stop shop from on-site consultancy through supply to collection and recycling meaning any company that uses more than 50 tonnes of packaging or has a £2 million turnover can meet their legal requirements. RTP Materials Handling can supply the complete package from boxes to protective dunnage or inserts saving costs in transport, handling and the protection of products.
